Classified Powershift Hub now integrated with SHIMANO Di2
With this announcement, Di2 riders can now shift the internal two-speed Powershift Hub using their existing SHIMANO shift levers. This provides a seamless user experience without the need for additional buttons or remotes, blending the familiar Di2 precision with the disruptive efficiency of Powershift.
The update is free-of-charge and requires no additional hardware.
This integration merges the advantages of Classified’s Powershift Hub with SHIMANO proven 12-speed Di2 rear shifting. The result is a clean, high-performance 1x setup that delivers instant, under-load gear changes with optimum gearing range and steps.

The integration works with any existing 11- speed and 12-speed Di2 set-up. For Shimano 11-speed groupsets, a Shimano D-fly unit (EW-WU111B) is required.
Can I use the Classified Powershift system with any wheel brand?
Yes. The Classified Powershift system is compatible with all major wheel brands, offering Classified-ready solutions. Swapping wheels is easy — you can remove the hub from the wheel easily, making upgrades or changes simple and cost-effective.
How do I shift the Powershift Hub using Di2 levers?
After connecting the Powershift hub to your Di2 groupset, you can setup the Shift Button configuration in the E-TUBE app by selecting D-Fly channel 3 for upshifting (Shift from 0,7 to 1:1) and D-Fly channel 4 for downshifting (Shift from 1:1 to 0,7)
Do I still need a Classified Handlebar Unit?
No, the Handlebar Unit and the Shift Button become obsolete.
Can I assign buttons to shift the Powershift Hub?
The button configuration is customizable in the SHIMANO Di2 App (E-TUBE PROJECT Cyclist) to suite personal preference.
I already have a Classified Powershift Hub. Can I connect to Di2?
Yes, Connecting the Classified Powershift Hub with SHIMANO Di2 is done via the Classified App. Connect the Smart Thru-Axle with the Classified App, and make sure the latest firmware version is downloaded. Then, add the SHIMANO Di2 shifter and follow the pairing procedure. Lastly, you need to configure the shift button setup in the E-TUBE PROJECT Cyclist app by selecting D-Fly channel 3 for upshifting (shift from 0,7 to 1:1) and D-Fly channel 4 for downshifting (Shift from 1:1 to 0,7), or customise if needed.
What are the hardware requirements for this Di2-integration?
From Classified, you will need the Classified Powershift Hub + accessories (Torque Support Arm, Smart Thru-Axle, Threaded End); Classified Wheelsets or Powershift-ready wheel sets available on the market; Classified 11-speed or 12- speed SHIMANO-compatible cassettes. Crankset and chainring will be optional and available at Classified.
From SHIMANO, you will need a Di2 11- speed or 12-speed road or gravel groupset (including rear derailleur, battery, wires, shifters, chain, and front brake system). For Shimano 11-speed groupsets, a Shimano D-fly unit (EW-WU111B) is required.
