When MERIDA unveiled the all-new REACTO range on March 6, the bike that defined the launch was the REACTO ONE. MERIDA’s most uncompromising aero configuration, built around the Classified Powershift Hub.

MERIDA’s brief was simple: build the cleanest, fastest aero road bike possible. The answer was a 1x drivetrain, with the Classified Powershift Hub doing the work that a front derailleur used to do, invisibly, from inside the rear wheel.

The Powershift Hub gives the REACTO ONE the full gear range of a traditional 2x drivetrain: 24 gears, up to 583% range, through a shift that takes 150 milliseconds under loads of up to 1,500 watts. You get the simplicity of a 1x and the range of a 2x, in a package the wind doesn’t even notice.
Climb, sustain, sprint. The drivetrain keeps up with whatever the race demands.

This is what happens when two brands that share an obsession with doing things properly build something together. MERIDA didn’t integrate Powershift as an afterthought. They designed the REACTO ONE around it, from the frame geometry up. The result is a bike where every element earns its place.
