Two years ago, Kirstine Frida Rysbjerg was in the shape of her life. Then a crash, a injury that wouldn't heal, a misdiagnosis, and a hospital that advised her to quit cycling entirely.

She didn't.

Her condition left her with two options: surgery, or stepping away from performance cycling for good. It was a significant financial and personal decision, and she made it.
